Die neue Skulptur von Eugenio Merino: “Here i send you my latest work for the SOS 4.8 art festival in Murcia, Spain. It is the Dwarf of Twin Peaks dancing on Francisco Franco grave. It is about how weird is the Spanish society, that still hasn´t been able to go beyond the spanish civil war. I did like the idea of the red guy, (the communist guy) in the red room dancing as a vengance on the grave…the two dwarfs …Franco (who was a small guy) and the man from another place.” Via: Mail

One is a fishing hook of 150 cm height made of polished stainles steel with a black skull on the end called “Everything is false”. We are the victims or the target of our society. Eugenio Merino und seine Performance “Master of Puppets“: “A perfomance we did in New York, in front of Gagosian Gallery, last september 2010. It´s a limousine with a sculpture of Larry Gagosian with some puppets in his fingers which are Murakami, Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst. It was the day of the opening, the real Larry was in Paris, in another of his galleries – so it was like a religious experience in which he was able to be at two places in the same moment!!!
